WASAI BATU MAPAN

The name Batu Mapan came from the Puak Tutong ethnic group, who saw rock formations at the place that bore a strong resemblance to ‘Kayu Papan’ (wooden planks). The recreational park was officially opened in June 2011. One of the main attractions of the place is the lake surrounded by a beautiful waterfall. Visitors can have a refreshing swim near the waterfall or to even just relax at the huts provided.
.
There are amenities available at the park such as huts, public toilets, a guard post, and a mini performance stage available for the public to use. For better entry to the waterfall, walkways, stairs and bridges are also easily accessible to the visitors.
